Jacob ind, 15 year old Jacob ind murdered his mother and step father. Nathan Ybanez and Erik Jensen, two high school students were involved in the killing of Nathan's mother. Andrew Medina charged and sentenced for felony murder, he was only 15. Many discussions are going around about what should be done about these heinous crimes, what do you do with a teenage killer? Do we give them life in prison, or do we let them off. Most people give their first judgment with out the full story, without the point of view of the teenage killer.
What makes a teenage killer tic? What causes them to take a life. It might be troubled family life everything at home might not be going well, or it could be mental illness were the teenager is not mentally stable and cannot function in a world where their needs are not being met. Then it can be emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. The teen can be being abused and having "i hate the world feelings" and take it out on any one that pushes their buttons. All these options can cause a teen to make a life changing decision. Personally I believe in the if you do the crime you do the time method. These teens are not above the law because of there age, you are characterized by what you do inside the mind of a teenage killer.
