The Life and Times of Walter Oliver Thompson

His name, Walter O. Thompson. His profession, by day, a mild mannered stock broker, but by night, he is a train model aficionado. Walter's day consists of most of the normal routine associated with living in the suburbs of a major city such as Chicago; commute to the corners of LaSalle and Plymouth, and after a day of hard work in the Chicago he takes the train back to Grayslake to see his wife of twenty seven years and his two children in grade school. Walter takes a passion in doing his daily Sudoku puzzles in the Chicago Tribune, and if he has the time, he also does the crosswords, although he is not very good at guessing other words for "computer peripheral".
In his early years, Walter always had trouble concentrating in school, his worst class was English. He favored numbers over letters, and excelled at mathematics and arithmetic. He eventually, after high school, got into Northwestern University, graduating at the top 5% of his class in Economics and Finance.
His first couple of years being an intern at Morgan Stanley turned out well, and after a couple of years he got an offer from a higher up CEO at AIG to be a director in the Chicago district office. Now he lives out day to day, doing his job at AIG, coming home to his kids and collecting his trains to put into his collection of over 2,657 seperate engines.
