Sailor Jerry

Normal "Sailor Jerry" collins born in 1911 and died in 1973 was a tattoo artist who was very well known. His tattoos art is still being sold in flashes, clothing, cups and ect... There are plenty of other tattoo artist who have work just like Sailor Jerry, but Sailor Jerry is one of the most popular in "old school" tattoo art.

Today you can find any tattoo artist that will tattoo a Sailor Jerry flash, but to me the work is so very different. Its like an artist painting another artist's work and trying to make it original, it will look great but will never be the same as  the original. Sailor Jerry is an artist, and he is an artist who work will live on for a long time.
